Hyperoptic, the UK’s largest FTTP internet service provider, reached a milestone by connecting over 100,000 new build homes to its all-fibre network. In addition, agreements to connect an additional 100,000 new homes over the next 12 months will require all new homes to have gigabit broadband as standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It has signed partnerships with Barratt Developments, Avant Homes and CALA, covering the entire portfolio of their new build homes. It has also just agreed a nationwide partnership with Bellway Homes to connect all of its future new build homes across the UK, which translates to over 11,000 homes a year. Currently, 93% of new homes built are built with full fibre access, a mark up from 59% in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Crucially, Hyperoptic goes beyond enabling access by also measuring itself by making it the same for the occupant available on the day they move into a property, with a success rate of over 99% in provisioning for the last six years in a row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Enabling a great customer experience is a strategic priority for Hyperoptic. All of the newly built homes it connects come with a router and a three-month trial, meaning they can instantly connect to an already-enabled WiFi before they even start unpacking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
